ISRAEL IN BIBLE PROPHECY | home

There are two very distinct sides of opinion regarding the issue of Zionism, with perhaps few numbered as indifferent, in between. Even the church is split over views on the subject of the return of Jews to Israel. Before delving into ancient history and legal title to the land, it's important to note that by the early 1800's, Israel had essentially been abandoned. This was the result of Jerusalem having suffered a physical desolation, that began in 70AD when the Romans sacked Jerusalem, threw down Herod's Temple - every stone - just as Jesus had prophesied, and killed over a million Jews. The Romans went on to kill another 750,000 Jews during the Bar Kochba Revolt in 132, and as if the following 500 years of continuing decline under the Roman Empire wouldn't have been enough, an additional 1200 years of physical and spiritual desolation through Islamization was in store, after Muhammad's followers seized Jerusalem in 639 while in the process of conquering nearly the whole known world during the Islamic First Jihad.

We can observe the devastating effects around the world today, of the rule over lands by Muhammad's followers, just as Sir Winston Churchill did a century ago, - The River War, Vol. II, pp. 248-50, London; Longman, Green & Co., 1899:

Following 1200 years of spiritual desolation, and as if they had intended to further perfectly fulfill prophecy by completing the physical desolation of the Holy Land, the geniuses running Islam's Ottoman Empire imposed a tax on property based on the number of trees it contained. The result, of course, was that folks cut their trees down to reduce their taxes, resulting in the loss of millions of trees and subsequent desertification. The spiritual and physical "desolation" of Jerusalem was complete - in spades - by the early 1800's, as further evidenced by a near-nonexistent population.

In "A History of the Jews" Paul Johnson writes on page 321: "Between 1827 and 1839, largely through British efforts, the population of Jerusalem rose from 550 to 5,500 and in all Palestine it topped 10,000 - the real beginning of the Jewish return to the Promised Land. In 1838 Palmerston appointed the first western vice-consul in Jerusalem, W.T. Young, and told him 'to afford protection to the Jews generally'."

Even 30 years later in 1867 Mark Twain described it as: “ ...[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds-a silent mournful expanse....A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action....We never saw a human being on the whole route....There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”

"...of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince. The hills are barren, they are dull of color...the valleys are unsightly deserts fringed with feeble vegetation that has an expression about it of being sorrowful and despondent."

After the Jews were mass slaughtered in the first and second centuries, with the Holy Land later ruled by Muhammad's followers, it would seem the Lord would not allow anybody to prosper in the Holy Land. The Arab population began to come back to Israel, only after the Jews had begun to reestablish themselves, and produce and prosper in their land.

About 600 years prior to the Christian era, Ezekiel prophesied regarding a desolation and recovery. The Jews began to restore the land a couple hundred years ago, with the "green movement" being officially kicked off in 1910, with the founding of the first kibbutz on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Ezekiel 36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden;

and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are become] fenced,

[and] are inhabited.

That tiny strip of land emerging from total desolation, with the Israelis becoming world leaders in agricultural innovation, as the Promised Land simultaneously became the geopolitical focus of the world fulfilling boatloads of prophecy in the process.

The Gush Katif greenhouses alone produced 70% of Israel's produce valued at about a hundred million dollars per year.

These were located on the Gaza strip, a piece of land that the Israelis built from desert wasteland, over the prior 50 years. Secular international powers brokered a deal in which the Gaza strip was to be handed over to the so-called "Palestinians" - a modern day mythical people - in exchange for another empty promise of peace with the Israelis by Muhammad's followers that are committed to destroying them. The new occupants of the Israeli built property, homes and commerce, were to take over the operation and profit of the greenhouses, but instead when they arrived, predictably, they looted out and destroyed them. Instead of producing that hundred million dollars a year, the "Palestinians" instead used the Gaza strip as a platform, now closer to Jerusalem, from which thousands of rockets have been launched randomly into Jerusalem as capable of hitting schools and hospitals as anything else.

It would seem that God has not allowed anyone to prosper in the Holy Land since the first century - except His people. Another reason the Israelis have been able to become so productive and prosperous, as compared to the sloth of her neighbors, is because they are the only democracy in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the Middle East that shares our western values. That's also why Muslims enjoy more freedom and protection of their human rights in Israel, than they do in any Muslim controlled country on earth. The blessing the Israelis have been on mankind was also prophesied.

Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee [Abram] a great nation, [Israel] and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Let's compare the Israeli's to their neighbors in terms of Nobel Prizes, to maybe get a little understanding of how the Jews have been a blessing on "all families of the earth".

Only someone with their head firmly planted in the sand could remain ignorant to Israel's neighboring leaders and followers of Muhammad's ambitions to kill the Jews, wipe them out to the last, and "drive them into the sea". These are true, fundamental, followers of Muhammad, and leaders of Islamic nation states, that get Islam and do what they can to be like Muhammad.

Then the Prophet went out into the marketplace of Medina (it is still its marketplace today), and he had trenches dug in it. He sent for the Jewish men and had them beheaded in those trenches. They were brought out to him in batches. They numbered 800 to 900 boys and men."

Ignoring, let alone supporting the global menace of Islam, isn't even like selfish anti-Semitic Germans who didn't care about Hitler and the Islamic Grand Mufti of Jerusalem's holocaust, because they hoped it would only effect Jews.

Ishaq:204/ Tabari VI:134 "'Men of the Khazraj, do you know what you are pledging yourselves to in swearing allegiance to this man.' 'Yes,' they answered. 'In swearing allegiance to him we are pledging ourselves to wage war against all mankind.'"

Whose side are you on?

Whose side are you on?

The Israelis, or those true fundamental followers of Muhammad who say Jews are descended from monkeys and swine, and are committed to wiping them out to the last?

Those true followers of Muhammad whose mission is the conquest of all nations of the world, and subjugation of all peoples to Muhammad's followers.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform a that, then they save their lives an property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah." That means YOU, and your children, and grandchildren! By supporting Muhammad's followers, at the expense of the "People of the Book", anti-Zionists of all stripes including atheists and agnostics are essentially consigning their heirs to "testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle" while being compelled to prostrate themselves to the Quraish pagan's black stone idol in Mecca and "offer the prayers" in "vain repetitions of the heathen" to the pagan Arabian's deity "Allah" five times a day. YOUR children, YOUR grandchildren.

There are two distinct sides.

On one side is the only democracy in the Middle East, who's people are innovative, hard working, productive, highly literate, and share our western values, who are self-governed and live in freedom and self-determination, whose faithful share our Old Testament scriptures. A country where Muslims enjoy more freedom, than Muslims do in any Muslim controlled country on earth, and who also happen to be the 5th largest customer of the U.S. A nation whose independence was supported by the world community, as a solution to 2500 years of persecution of Jews, while they were scattered among Gentile nations.

On the other side are the people who share Muhammad's ambition of the conquest and subjugation of all the people of the world to Muhammad's followers. The 1400 year long goal of Islam, as expressed by the Quran and Hadith, and as evidenced by the near conquest of the whole known world during the First Islamic jihad, until stopped in France and Austria. A cult that rejects the Scriptures to follow Muhammad alone through his stand-alone 23 year 7th century record, whose faithful adherents are responsible for over 18,000 deadly Islamic terror attacks around the world, just since 9-11. With over two million killed in the Sudan alone, and recently another 1,000 Christians martyred on the Ivory Coast of Africa by the new Muslim government, and even more recently another 40 killed in Christmas day 2011 church bombings in Nigeria, not to ignore the rising tide of genocide of black immigrants in Libya now that it has been "liberated", all of which, of course, have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Zionism.

Whose side are you on?

Whether Zionist or anti-Zionist, it's unimaginable to me that a person who is even remotely capable of independent thought and being honest with themselves, could argue with Benjamin Netanyahu's declaration: "If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel".

While Muslims enjoy more freedom in Israel than they do in any Islam controlled country on earth, anti-Zionists are effectively championing turning Israel into another sharia law ruled, female circumcising, wife beating, Islamic slave state, even as we watch Europe fall to the same fate.

Let's look at the ancient history regarding title to Israel.

Over 3600 years ago the one true God of the bible - YHWH - Yahweh, gave to the seed of Abraham "all the land of Canaan" through an everlasting covenant, that passed specifically to his son Isaac and then to Isaac's son Jacob and his seed after him. We already explored a little of how the seed of Abraham have been a blessing on mankind.

Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

But which seed is that land covenant with?

Genesis 16:1 Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name [was] Hagar. 2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. 3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. 4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes. 5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong [be] upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

Once Hagar saw that she had conceived a child with Abraham she despised Sarah.

Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

That land covenant was with the seed of Abraham. As we learned previously Abraham's wife Sarah throught herself too advanced in age to have a son, so she encouraged Abraham to have a son with her handmaiden Hagar, to raise as their own. But just as He had previously told Sarah that He would allow her to bear a child, but she didn't have faith

Genesis 21:1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. 2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. 3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. 4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. 5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. 6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, [so that] all that hear will laugh with me. 7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born [him] a son in his old age. 8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the [same] day that Isaac was weaned. 9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. 10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, [even] with Isaac. 11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. 12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Thus God's covenant was specifically with the seed of Isaac and not with the seed of Ishmael. After Abraham cast Hagar and Ishmael out of his house it seems even God no longer recognized Ishmael as a son.

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

Isaac fathered two sons, Jacob and Esau. Some of Muhammad's followers try to lay claim to being of the seed of Isaac, through Esau, however Esau traded away his inheritance for a bowl of pottage.

Genesis 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red [pottage]; for I [am] faint: therefore was his name called Edom. {with...: Heb. with that red, with that red pottage} {Edom: that is Red} 31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. 32 And Esau said, Behold, I [am] at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? {at...: Heb. going to die} 33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised [his] birthright.

Let alone that all one has to do is investigate the immoral and unregenerate character of Esau to know one would not desire to be related to him in the first place. Besides which his descendants were wiped out to the last, for refusing to allow Moses and his people to pass through the Edomites land, on their way to the Promised Land. (Jeremiah 49:10)

We find the seed of Ishmael today, just as was prophesied.

Genesis 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou [art] with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. 12 And he will be a wild man; his hand [will be] against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

With the secular U.N. and the list of nations coming out against the Israelis - including our administration - the following prophecy reads like a news headline while detailing two distinct groups.

Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Now that the secular anti-Zionists and Muslims have clicked out of this video, and returned to planting their heads firmly back in the sand, let's look a little at the split within the "church" on Zionism. It isn't my intent to divide the church, but to encourage a search for truth, since all false doctrine is the work of Satan, the father of lies.

There is little question that the division within the church on Zionism is a direct result of which eschatology a group adheres to, with partial-preterists and "replacement theology" on the anti-Zionist side, and futurists on the side of Zionism. It is interesting to note that both of those pop doctrines necessarily preclude even considering, that Muhammad could be THE false prophet of the book of Revelation. This even as the most egregious - and only unpardonable - sin in Muhammad's religion is committed if a Muslim confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, and each and every Muslim must deny the crucifixion, death and resurrection of the Messiah - the WHOLE SUBJECT of the Gospel - as an article of their faith in the false prophet Muhammad.

Partial-preterism and replacement theology taking over the truth to such an extent that Presbyterian church leaders met with the internationally recognized terrorist organization Hezbollah and proclaimed

"We treasure the precious words of Hezbollah and your expression of goodwill toward the American people. Also we praise your initiative for dialogue and mutual understanding. We cherish these statements that bring us closer to you. As an elder of our church, I'd like to say that according to my recent experience, relations and conversations with Islamic leaders are a lot easier than dealings and dialogue with Jewish leaders."

Whatever was exchanged at that meeting, it's obvious that these "church" "leaders" didn't have any idea as to what "taqiyyah" or Islamic subterfuge or lying in the way of Allah is all about. For a list of other such institutions try "divestment from Israel" for the usual list of suspects leading the church into apostasy including the Presbyterian Church, World Council of Churches, United Church of Christ, Church of England synod, United Church of Canada. Muhammadan university groups that join them include Muslim Student Union and the "Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction Campaign".
